How to Apply


The school psychology program admits students once a year for entry in the following fall semester. The application deadline is December 1. School psychology faculty review applications in December. Select applicants are invited to a virtual interview in late January/early February. Admissions decisions are typically made within two weeks of the interview. Admitted students must accept or deny their offers by April 15. Other applicants will be placed on a waitlist and may be contacted if there is space available.


Master’s/Sixth-Year and Doctoral Programs

To apply:

Complete the Graduate School's online application.

  • All applicants must submit the following materials: (1) a personal statement, (2) three letters of recommendation, (3) a resume, and (4) unofficial transcripts of all collegiate work completed to date. Ph.D. applicants must also submit (5) GRE scores from ETS using school code 3915.
  • GREs are required for all Doctoral Program applicants and optional for all Master's/Sixth-Year Program applicants.
  • If you are applying to the master's/sixth-year program please select school psychology-MA in your application. Do not select the sixth year (SD) in your application.
  • The school psychology program admits students once per year. Students are admitted for the following fall semester. Students are not admitted in the spring semester. In your application, please select the appropriate fall semester. 

NOTE: Students who enter the program will need to submit Praxis Core scores or a waiver during their first semester in the program.
